The industrial and utility piping should be capable of transporting the desired medium in a safe and reliable manner using a system that is congruent with the approved design, material type, operating conditions and the project environment. Pipe routing, joints, supports, valves, fittings, testing and equipment interfaces are controlled and require traceable records.
Best International Contracting Company offers piping works Saudi Arabia project owners, main contractors and industrial facilities have the opportunity to contact them to purchase definite packages of installation. We have the ability to cover process and utility lines, water lines, gas lines, drainage, lines, underground lines, HDPE and PVC lines, changes and chosen maintenance.
Being an industrial piping contractor that Saudi Arabia customers can refer to when they want to undertake a suitable project, BIC will review approved drawings, line lists, material requirements, joining details, support details, test requirements, access requirements and required programme prior to mobilisation. Only in case it is mentioned in the accepted contract engineering, approval of authorities and process design by specialists are included
A piping package can contain various materials, pressure classes, types of connections, elevations and connections with equipment, structures, roads and underground services. The execution plan must make it clear who is in charge of design, the material supply, fabrication, trenching, installation, testing, reinstatement and commissioning.
BIC organizes the sequence of the work around the approved workfronts, issued drawings, availability of materials, inspection points and boundaries of system turnover. Hidden or underground work is presented to the necessary inspection prior to the backfilling, insulation, cladding or enclosure.
Where the real conditions of a site are not in harmony with the approved routing or connection point, the work to be affected is taken by the technical process of the project. Site teams are not permitted to alter the pipe size, material, class, slope or service duty without written permission.
Industrial Process and Utility Piping
Approved carbon-steel and stainless-steel as well as other specified piping packages have the capability of being supported by BIC to accommodate appropriate plant utilities, process-support systems and facility modifications. The specific service, the material category and operating basis is specified by the project documents.
Work can comprise of spool receipt, field fit-up, approved site joints, fitting and valve installation, supports, tie-in preparation, testing and turnover records. The engineering parties appointed still have complex process engineering and licensed design duties with the appointment not contracted out.
Water Supply Piping
Water systems can be used in industrial utilities, buildings, support of processes, irrigation, storage facilities or project facilities. The approved design must be in line with the pipe material, pressure class, method of connection, isolation points and test requirements.
BIC is capable of installing either above ground or underground water lines with the desired metal or non-metal system. The exception to the piping package is that pumps, tanks and mechanical equipment do not fall under the Mechanical Works package unless such is installed as a part of the piping package.
Gas Piping
Gas piping involves the definition of service, material, class, jointing, ventilating, isolation, testing and commissioning responsibility. Only approved engineering information and site permits needed should be used to continue working.
A method, inspection plan and project control process permits BIC to perform appropriate installation and modification work. The design of gas-systems, approval of regulation, special detection systems and live commissioning are included only where specifically designated.
Sewage and Drainage Piping
Correct route, invert level, slope, bedding, connection and access are all required in drainage systems to ensure future maintenance. The drawings which are approved must mark manholes, chambers, cleanouts, tap and discharge interfaces.
The scope of BIC can accommodate gravity drainage, sewage and preferred pressure-discharge piping. When separately packaged, Manhole construction, major excavation and external civil reinstatement are coordinated with Civil Works.
Underground Piping Systems
The installation of underground pipes involves the coordination of the survey control, trench preparation, bedding, pipe handling, joints, testing, the use of protection and backfilling. The pre-existence utilities, crossings, and ground water such conditions should be examined prior to commencing work.
We have KSA scope of our underground piping that will encompass the laying of pipes, allowed field joints, fittings, valves, marker or protection systems, testing and as built data coordination. Only those mentioned in the proposal, bulk trench excavation, shoring, dewatering and final reinstatement are provided.
HDPE Piping Installation
HDPE could be chosen to allow appropriate water, drainage, utility or industrial service due to its ability to offer continuous joined system on manipulation and fusing. Pipe grade, pressure rating, dimensional standard and approved fittings should be in accordance with the project requirement.
Being an HDPE piping contractor Saudi Arabia customers may contract specific packages, BIC will store, handle, and fusion field, access machine, joint marking, cooling, piping installation and testing. Fusion parameters and operator needs are in line with the accepted procedure and equipment guidelines.
PVC and Related Non-Metallic Piping
PVC, uPVC, CPVC or another specified non-metallic system may be used for suitable water, drainage, chemical or building-service applications. This material should exactly match the job to be done and should be acceptable to the project.
Installation can be by solvent-cemented, rubber-ring, flanged, threaded or other approved. Impact of the pipes and unsupported loading, inappropriate bending and contamination of the pipes should be avoided before and during installation.
Piping Adjustments and Tie-In preparation
Existing facilities might be needed to be rerouted, extended, replaced or connected to an operating system. These works should be checked with boundaries of isolation, drawings and access planning and a well-consented tie-in procedure.
BIC is capable of making appropriate spools, supports, field joints and connection points, as per the agreed scope. The facility has the authorised control to live-system intervention processes, process isolation and operational release.
Others need fully approved engineering packages to be built, some need to be defined shop drawings, routing development, support coordination or as-built updates prior to being executed. The quotation should be agreed upon the engineering responsibility.
BIC can coordinate the appropriate deliverables (routing layouts, isometric development, spool breakdown, support-location coordination, material take-offs and construction details) depending on the design basis of the customer where piping design and engineering KSA is provided.
Process computations, hydraulic investigations, stress evaluation, selection of material, safety investigations and submissions to the authorities are only done when specifically designated to the appropriate qualified engineering firms. Any changes to the field must not be considered a design change that has been reviewed and approved.
All pipes, fittings, flanges, gaskets, bolts, valves and fittings consumables must be in accordance with the material class approved. Components that look alike could have varying pressure ratings, material grades, schedule or service restrictions.
The materials are verified against available identification and project documents and then installed. Storage must be non-contaminated, there must be no coating damage, end damage, distortion and mixing between systems.
The contract may include material procurement, but this page is not in place of the BIC specific Industrial Metals, Pipes and Fittings or Industrial Valves supply pages. The responsibility in regard to installation and supply of the products are well outlined in the proposal.
Piping can come in the form of spools manufactured in the shop, or they can have to be approved field fabricated and fitted. Dimensions, orientation, alignment of flange faces, positions and allowance of installation of the branches should be verified against existing drawings and site.
Fabrication Services is the way standalone spool and pipe-support fabrication is handled. The piping scope has the ability to receive, find, assemble and install approved spools and may have some limited site modifications subject to the project procedure.
Making a spool fit should not be done by forced alignment, an inappropriate heating, uncontrolled cutting or unauthorised alterations. Any discrepancies are noted and sent to be disposed.
The welding or mechanical-joining procedure of the metallic piping joints should be in accordance with the approved welding or mechanical-joining procedure. The control of the joint preparation, cleanliness, fit-up, consumables, environmental protection, identification and inspection requirements is subject to a project package.
The assignment of the welders and joining personnel is based on the accepted project requirements. The inspection and non-destructive examination are arranged in accordance with the frequency and way that is set by the inspection plan.
The coating, insulation and concealment of a joint should not take place until the desired visual and identified examination phases have been achieved.
The butt fusion, electrofusion as well as other permissible joining techniques demand clean surfaces, appropriate equipments, appropriate alignment and controlled joining parameters. Joint identification and machine records may be required by the project.
The jointing process may be influenced by weather, dust, moisture, movement of the pipes and lack of proper support. The areas of fusion must be designed in such a way that joints made can cool and be manipulated.
The specified preparation, method of insertion, curing, restraint and handling is required by PVC and other non-metallic systems. Unapproved adapters or arrangements that are made on site should not be used to join different pipe systems.
The piping needs supports that do not cause a change in the recommended path, lift and movement allowance without passing unwarranted loads to equipment or structures. The support set up can be shoes, guides, anchors, hangers, brackets and other permissible elements.
BIC coordinates assist in the installation in reference to the issued drawings, and the actual structural interfaces. The production of custom support is arranged with the help of Fabrication Services where necessary.
The engineering should not change the support locations, spring settings or movement restraints. The temporary supports which are resorted to during installation should be regulated and eliminated when they are not necessary.
Releasing of the trench should be done at the desired line, level, width and condition before underground laying of pipes. Bedding and surrounds have to be appropriate to the approved detail and pipe system.
Sleeves, utility crossings, road crossings, sleeves, thrust-restraint details, chambers and connection points must be coordinated prior to the installation of the pipe. The project clearance process should determine existing services.
The piping crew checks the condition of the pipes, their alignment and joints and then tests and backfills. Civil compaction, reconstruction of pavement and final reinstatement of surface are all within the Civil Works boundary.
Testing makes sure that the installed system is tested against the approved project requirement. The test package is expected to find out boundaries, medium, pressure, duration, vents, drains, temporary blinds, calibrated instruments, exclusions and acceptance criteria.
BIC may assist with hydrostatic or other recognized testing, leak tests, flushing, draining, drying and reinstatement as part of it. Hazardous-service testing and pneumatic testing must be approved by the engineering and have additional controls.
Testing is not an alternative to commissioning and does not demonstrate a better performance of the process, which is not mentioned in the acceptance requirements. The cleaning and passivation, drying to a given dew-point or other specialist preparation is provided only where specified.
Parking shades can be constructed of steel frames with the acceptable fabrics, membrane, metal or other canopy resources. Exposure, appearance and project requirements and maintenance must be taken into account in the process of product selection.
Installation will involve setting-out under controlled conditions, erection of frames, checking connections, canopy installation, tensioning or fixing, finishing and clearing of areas as per the scope of the agreement.
Standalone frame fabrication is under the Fabrication Services whereas the major foundations and paving reinstatement are under the Civil Works. The entire mechanical shade package of coordination of these interfaces is the subject of this page.
Piping records must enable the project to track the materials, joints, inspection, tests and completed line status. The documentation needed is dependent on the system and contract.
Common forms of records can be material, joint, weld or fusion, inspection, test pack, punch, flushing records and as-built mark-up.
BIC manages the documentation and system handover of contracts on the contractors side using the agreed turnover process. Acceptance is subject to the contractual and the inspection by the customer.
Projects that involve Jubail can be new utility networks, plant modification, underground services, building connection, maintenance package, and industrial growth works. Access, permits and operating restrictions may have a profound impact upon the sequence of execution.
To meet piping installation requirements of Jubail, BIC evaluates the workfront, material movement, lifting, fabrication interfaces, tie-in windows, testing spaces and turnover limits before mobilisation.
The work done within operating facilities is coordinated with the isolation, permit, access and operational-control procedures of the customer. Work that is dependent on shutdown will be scheduled separately as a specific outage in the plant is necessary.
The work of Brownfield piping frequently has incomplete documentation, overcrowded routes, and supports and live-system interfaces. Prior to final spool or route decisions, a site verification survey is necessary to verify the conditions that are available.
The working process might need progressive elimination, interim aids, controlled lifting, safeguard of surrounding equipment and reinstatement of coating or insulation.
BIC is carried out only in the published and autonomous work boundary. The operation of the processes and system isolation and permission to open the existing lines are retained by the responsible team of the facility.
The piping installation may be subject to lifting, hot work, grinding, chemicals, pressure tests, working in the air and trenches, small spaces, and contact with the operating system. The activities must have the proper permit and workfront controls.
Pipe sections and spools must be hoisted by appropriate means and to prevent rolling or uncontrolled motion these must be supported. End of open pipes is guarded against debris and foreign material.
Areas where pressure tests are to be performed must be restricted and a test set up scheduled. During pressurisation, no individual is supposed to be left in the open stance close to provisional connections, closures or parts.
